Risk mitigation planning is the process of identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting to potential and realized risks. This template serves to assist you to define how risks associated with your current software implementation project will be identified, analyzed, and managed. You will be able to outline specific actions that are to be taken to mitigate and respond to risks.

This exercise should be an initiative lead by the Project Manager. The intended audience of this document is the entire range of project participants, including the project team, project sponsor, systems integration consultants, and management.
