In the world of enterprise technology marketing, UC is king. Does UC offer value for the typical enterprise? Sure. Moving toward a consolidated communications infrastructure and end-user toolset—integrated with valuable presence information—makes practical sense to most IT and business leaders. But realistically, the jump from today to tomorrow is still a big and particularly expensive one for most organizations.
