A recent Info-Tech in-depth study on IT application outsourcing surveyed 46 manufacturers and found that manufacturers tend to pursue the IT application outsourcing in the hope of gaining access to faster application delivery, specialized expertise and business process improvements. These motivations are typical across all industry verticals.
