Enterprises are increasingly adopting mobility strategies to keep employees connected and productive while away from the office. Any mobile strategy must account for the cost of mobile services in order to accurately determine ROI. Even if a formal strategy is not in place and mobile devices are issued and/or paid for by the company on an ad hoc basis, enterprises will want to carefully control the cost of mobile services.
Select the Right Plans
Selecting the most cost effective wireless bundle is key to controlling the cost of mobile services. It is important to tailor plans to employee usage, which often requires some historical usage data. Selecting an unlimited voice plan for all users is not appropriate when many employees only use 100 minutes a month. Similarly, selecting the $20 plan that includes 100 minutes a month for an employee that uses 2000 minutes a month will cost a fortune in out-of bundle-charges.
