A critical step for building strong buy-in and acceptance of EA principles is the regular communication. Timely and meaningful communication helps to reduce resistance from the stakeholders, and increase perception of EA principles value.
This communication plan template provides a structure for managing ongoing communications between the EA Principles Group and relevant stakeholders. Be sure to consider the following factors:
- Budget time for communications. A time budget should allow for time to prepare the communication, deliver it, and handle questions or other responses after delivery.
- Avoid scheduling communications in competition with one another. Staggered communications delivered at the right time are more likely to be acknowledged, thereby increasing their impact.
