About Me

Joel is a Director at Info-Tech Research Group where he is responsible for developing and delivering thought leadership connect IT suppliers with IT buyers. This includes supporting market expansion, competitive intelligence, partner alignment & recruitment, and lead generation tools and services.

Joel offers two decades of experience from working in the global high-tech industry where he has led analyst, product, marketing, sales, and technical teams in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Prior to joining Info-Tech, Joel held senior roles at IDC, Microsoft, and TechInsights. At these companies, he managed teams and products dealing with product design, costing, supply chains, and intellectual property. At TechInsights I ran the teardown.com business, led global marketing and product management, and drove the company’s digital strategy – working closely with CEO, CFO, CIO, and Sales. While at Microsoft, I oversaw the Dynamics ERP products, partners, and go-to-market strategy.

Joel specializes in helping teams in fast-growing businesses who manage, market, design, analyze, develop, sell, and support “as a service”-based offerings that align business and IT efforts to realize growth.

Joel holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston.
