Step 1: Interview key business stakeholders to identify in-flight and scheduled high-priority transformational initiatives and draw an evaluation matrix to visualize results. Use the Initiative Evaluation Matrix template to identify high-priority initiatives.
Consider the following factors:
- Importance to business goal attainment: How critical is the initiative in enabling the enterprise to achieve its goals?
- Transformational impact: To what degree is the foundational structure of the enterprise affected by the initiative? (Rationale: EA can have a bigger impact on transformational initiatives.)
