The phase of this project will allow you to turn your gap initiatives in HIPAA and/or SOX into actions. In this phase, you will:
- Prioritize the gap initiatives that need to be completed.
- Determine the timelines for all the various gap initiatives.
- Assign ownership and responsibility for each initiative.
- Create metrics in order to measure the success of your compliance program.
By the end of this phase and this project, it will become clear where the organization needs to move forward in an actionable way to meet the next HIPAA and/or SOX audit.
