When designing a Web site that will be accessed by potential customers, a credible and enhanced appearance of retailer's products and image is critical. Avoid building sites that are difficult to navigate as potential customers may become frustrated, never to return.

Building It Does Not Mean They Will Come

Many retail Web sites are not being fully leveraged as marketing or sales tools. While the goal is most often to sell something, decreasing customer confidence in online purchases reveals retail Web sites are also becoming important marketing tools.
