(10-Mar-10) Phaeton Automotive Group got its start in 1993 with two locations in London, Ontario. Today, Phaeton has grown to have over 350 employees working out of seven sales and service locations in London, Richmond Hill and Thornhill, Ontario. The group sells a range of new vehicles, including Hyundai, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Lexus, and Toyota.
When looking for a new server platform, Premier Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Navantis Inc. recommended Windows Server 2008 as a key part of a platform-centric approach. Phaeton decided to design its infrastructure from the ground up. This way the physical IT infrastructure, data centre, and software could leverage the company for future growth.
Khalid Kadrie, a Director at Phaeton, says that the combination of Exchange Server 2010 and Windows Server 2008 R2 has allowed Phaeton to build out a full IT infrastructure.
