?(3-Jan-11) ??????????Social media top the must-have list of technologies that businesses should consider adopting in 2011, an Ontario-based research company suggested on Monday.
"Social media for business use is here to stay," Info-Tech Research said in a news release. The company noted that marketing sections are incorporating social media into their plans without waiting for an official go-ahead from information technology (IT) sections.
"Larger organizations are also utilizing social media platforms to improve the effectiveness of internal communications and employee-to-employee collaboration," the release said.
