Announcements included:
- CallWay, a cloud-based multi-point video conferencing coordination solution, to simplify the video conferencing experience across a wide variety of video endpoints (telepresence, executive, IP video phone, mobile device, and desktop clients).
- WebEx basic edition, allowing up to three users to collaborate for free using VOIP audio, video, IM, presence, desktop sharing, and cloud storage.
- Persistent spaces in WebEx (hosted or on-premise), enabling collaboration spaces to be used before, during, and after the interactive WebEx session itself.
With Cisco continuing to push the envelope with rich-yet-simple collaboration and communication technologies, Info-Tech customers will benefit both from Cisco’s innovations as well as from the inevitable responses from Cisco’s competitors.
