Business Intelligence (BI) is increasingly important in the health care industry. Info-Tech recently surveyed a diverse group of health care organizations and facilities about their BI initiatives. The study explored three key issues:
- Top drivers for BI projects included improved data consistency and more informed decision making.
- Realized benefits included better decision making and improved data insight.
- Key challenges were data quality and complexity of implementation.
