Olmsted Medical Center recruited Info-Tech Research Group to conduct an on-site workshop to kickstart its long-term application rationalization process. During the workshop, Olmsted assessed 13 core applications in terms of their strategic importance to the organization; functional gaps, overlaps, and dependencies; life stage; and TCO.

Summary & Success

  • Gained heightened awareness of Olmsted’s applications overall, specifically with respect to TCO.
  • Developed an application roadmap to take Olmsted towards a less complex future state.
