Laura Hansen-Kohls

Senior Research Analyst

Laura Hansen-Kohls is a Senior Research Analyst with Info-Tech Research Group. She has a strong background in employee services, project management and payroll administration.

Prior to joining Info-Tech Research Group, Laura served as an associate service advisor for Citigroup Employee Services. She provided technology training to new management on HR systems, developed tutorials and internal communications documents and prepared payroll for Canadian employees.

Laura also previously worked in an administrative support role for CEM Specialties Inc., a world class provider of process analytical and continuous emission monitoring solutions. While there, she created and updated documents for the company’s Quality Assurance Policy Manual, Health and Safety Manual and Quality Assurance/Quality Control manuals for clients and equipment manuals for Technical and Service staff.

Currently, Laura works with Lead Analyst, John Sloan, on desktop and server virtualization, backup software, and cloud computing research projects. She is a regular contributor to Info-Tech Advisor Premium and McLean Report.

Laura received her BA in Honors English and Creative Writing from the University of Prince Edward Island, her Master of Arts, English from Queen’s University, and her Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario.
