About Frank Koelsch

With over 30 years in the industry, Frank Koelsch is an expert in IT and business transformation. He is a seasoned professional with a broad range of experience spanning large-scale IT/telecom operations, system design, development, and executive consulting.

Frank has held a range of senior executive and CEO level positions. In 1995, he successfully published his first book titled The Infomedia Revolution. It quickly became a bestseller and was widely acclaimed for its insight into the evolution of computing technology and how these advances have revolutionized business activity in every industry sector. Top executives around the world have used it to help shape their strategic thinking and advance their corporate goals.

In 1985, Frank was one of three founders of Gartner Group Canada. He grew the company to be Canada's largest and most highly regarded provider of industry leading research and analysis services. During his time with Gartner, he created a thriving executive consulting practice. He personally consulted at the board, CEO, and senior executive levels of many of the world's largest companies (both in North America and Europe). Frank's practice focused on harnessing the transformative power of information technology towards achieving breakthrough business results.

After his time with Gartner Group, Frank was invited to found and lead the Everest Group's Canadian business. The Everest Group (Dallas, TX) is the world's leading outsourcing advisory firm, serving Fortune 1000 clients globally. As President and CEO, Frank successfully established Everest as Canada's premier consultancy focused exclusively on providing expert outsourcing advice. Under his direction, Everest completed a number of Canada's largest outsourcings, both in IT and various business processes, some well in excess of $1 billion total contract value.

Frank's early career at Sears, DataCrown, and the Royal Bank of Canada centered on the planning, implementation and management of large scale data centers, business systems, and related networking environments.

Frank worked directly with Info-Tech's founder and CEO, Joel McLean. As Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Research, Frank focused on growing Info-Tech to its full potential as a global leader in the IT research field.
