  1. The new Impact Research study on the business value of SharePoint.
  2. The 2007-2008 IT Budget and Staffing survey.

These studies give insight into adoption rates across industries, choice of version, and functional needs.

Strong SharePoint Adoption in Professional Services

Business and professional services firms rank among the top four industries in adoption of collaboration platforms. Nearly 60% of firms in this sector are either planning to adopt or have already adopted SharePoint or a similar solution.
