The data center is the most important room in the enterprise. Therefore, it is critical to mitigate physical security risks to this asset. COBIT offers concrete guidance for securing the data center against a wide variety of threats. Use part of the COBIT framework to protect IT assets and workers against hazards.

Why COBIT?

The COBIT 4.0 framework was developed by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) to allow "managers to bridge the gap between control requirements, technical issues and business risks." COBIT 4.0 provides the basic structure for IT controls that meet compliance objectives, particularly with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
