Project scope creep is not the enemy. While often the result of poorly defined business requirements at the start of a project – and the bane of most IT managers – scope creep can have unforeseen benefits when properly managed. The likelihood of delivering a successful project is substantially increased by the savvy manager who knows when to allow creep, when to prevent it, and how to accurately document changes that affect project creep.
