Who is Syncsort?

Syncsort is a private, US-based company. The first product offered by the company was their self-titled data manipulation software solution. SyncSort is used for sorting, merging, copying and joining large amounts of data for fast access and reporting to enhance data warehousing, business intelligence (BI) and database functionality. This data manipulation capability gave Syncsort a strong grounding upon which to build a for backup and recovery solution. OEM partnerships with NetApp and Novell also provide Syncsort with access to a wider customer base.
