While Microsoft Exchange may dominate the corporate e-mail market, there are other competent options available. Enterprises looking for Exchange alternatives can choose from better-known options capable of supporting the most complex environments to lesser-known vendors that focus on simplicity, competitive price, and all-in-one functionality, often with lighter hardware requirements.

Alternative E-Mail Server Suites

We’re not going to ask why the enterprise doesn’t want to deploy Exchange. It happens.

Perhaps the trigger for the e-mail server purchase is a greenfield installation or migration. Or maybe the enterprise does plan to use Exchange, but needs to perform due diligence by investigating alternatives.
