Like blogging and podcasting, social bookmarking has its roots in consumer technology but is finding a place in the enterprise world. Bookmark-sharing tools such as del.icio.us are now used by business users as well as home users.

What Is Social Bookmarking?

Social bookmarking is a system of sharing Web page bookmarks with other Internet users. In the enterprise context, bookmarks can be shared within project groups, teams, departments, or the entire organization.
