Change is not optional. It’s a part of every organization and the result of improving business practices and of working with technology. IT leaders faced with change in the enterprise must form a proper communication strategy to minimize resistance.

Change Resistance

For senior managers in an organization, change is seen as an opportunity, for themselves and the organization. For employees, change can be viewed as disruptive and intrusive.

Why do employees resist the change? For many reasons – their security may be threatened, they may be concerned about their level of competence in a new role and their fit in the new organization, and/or they are comfortable and confident in the status quo environment.
