The cornerstone of Symantec’s various product offerings is its enterprise anti-virus solution. Sold in various formats, it is one of the leading solutions in a crowded market. Increased competition has prompted the company to radically improve the package and rename it Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 11.0. Though the package is still in public beta, the improvements should keep Symantec in the leadership position of enterprise anti-virus when the software becomes commercially available.
