Mobile Phones Take RSS Feeds to the Next Level

Modern professionals rely on three screens (i.e. mobile phones, televisions, and computers) in the course of their daily lives. Of the three, the mobile phone is the most common, but its pervasiveness comes at the cost of functionality. Even as wireless technologies make computers more portable, and computing technologies make mobile phones more powerful, there is a need for interface technologies that link these screens.

A group of tools are emerging that link RSS feeds to cellular phones through text messaging. This takes RSS to the next level by delivering relevant information through more common channels.

RSS feeds are a great way to subscribe to relevant information feeds on the Internet without having to visit different Web sites to collate the information manually. News/information feeds get aggregated
